Get into the holiday spirit and decorate your home to be the brightest, cheeriest, classiest, or most fun and festive of them all! All homes in Poplar Run are automatically part of the contest, so NO ENTRY REQUIRED! Judging will be based on the following criteria: Festiveness, Originality, Theme, Skill Level, and Overall Appearance.
Members of the Social Committee will scour the neighborhood and choose finalists on December 12-14. Please have your decorations up and ready to go by December 12 for judging. The homes of chosen finalists will be photographed and brought to the community to vote. Voting will be active and available December 15-22.
There will be a prize awarded to first and second places. First place will also receive an award to display in their yard for the rest of the season. Winners will be announced on the community website, newsletter, and Facebook group.
