🏠 Poplar Run Annual Holiday Home Decorating Contest! 🏠

It’s that time of year. Let’s spread some holiday cheer! Decorate your home to be the brightest, cheeriest, classiest, or most fun and festive on the block.

No entry required! All homes in Poplar Run are automatically part of the contest. Judging will be based on: Festiveness, Originality, Theme, Skill Level, and Overall Appearance.

Timeline:

Decorations up by: December 12
Judging: December 12–14
Finalists’ homes photographed & community voting: December 15–22
Winners announced: December 23 on the website, newsletter, and Facebook group

Prizes:

1st & 2nd place winners
1st place also receives a yard award to display for the season

Contest Rules:

Only decorations visible from the street at night will be judged
Please keep decorations up through January 5 for everyone to enjoy
The Social Committee reserves the right to combine or divide entries if necessary
Judging decisions are final
